- Be responsible for conducting comprehensive credit risk assessments for margin loan, SME loan, and corporate loan applications, including:
- Assessment/analysis of borrower status, financial ability.
- Assessment of the feasibility and legality of the loan plan/loan repayment plan of the customer.
- Analyze financial statements, industry trends, and economic conditions to evaluate borrower creditworthiness and potential risk factors.
- Appraisal of the legality and safety of collateral to secure the loans.
- Field investigation, appraisal of collateral and source of loan repayment of customers.
- Recommending loan structures with appropriate collateral requirements and risk-adjusted pricing strategies.
- Preparing an appraisal report, assessment of arising risks (if any) and make proposals before granting credit to customer.
- Comply with the requirements for the time and quality of case processing.
- Strictly comply with the Company's credit extension process and regulations and make weekly and monthly reports.
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for signs of potential default and take proactive steps to mitigate risks.
- Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes related to margin loans, SME loans, and corporate loans.
- Work closely with the compliance department to ensure adherence to all relevant regulations.
- Education level, certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Risk Management, or a related field (FRM or CFA designation preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and financial statement analysis.
- Experience and ability:
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in commercial credit appraisal (including corporate loans), risk management, credit analysis, or a related field within the financial services industry.
- Understand the regulations/credit extension process in credit institutions. Ability to participate in the development of credit regulations/processes.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good adaptability to the use of information technology systems.
- Ability to grasp legal issues. General understanding of the system of legal documents related to credit and financial operations.
