Mirae Asset Finance Company (Vietnam) launched 10 billion aid package to support customers through the "companion pass covid-19"

On April 8, 2020, Mirae Asset Finance Company (Vietnam) officially launched a 10 billion VND financial support package to join hands with the Government to respond to COVID-19 through the program. "Accompanying COVID-19". This is a special support package for borrowers at Mirae Asset Finance Company (Vietnam)who are having difficulty paying their loans during this COVID-19 season. Accordingly, the program offers two flexible support options for current Mirae Asset Finance Company (Vietnam) customers (1) reducing interest rates or (2) extending the repayment period.

Sharing about the reason why Mirae Asset Finance Company (Vietnam) decided to launch this 10 billion support package, Mr. Lee Ja-yong, Chairman of Mirae Asset Finance Company (Vietnam)'s Board of Members, said:

“This support package is the latest effort of Mirae Asset Finance Company (Vietnam) to join hands with the Government of Vietnam to repel COVID-19, contributing to supporting the economy in the crisis; at the same time, sharing a part of the financial burden to help customers overcome this global crisis. Thereby, customers just need to sit at home to receive financial support from Mirae Asset Finance Company (Vietnam)”.

The customers eligible to receive this 10 billion VND support package are those who have smartphones and are having difficulty in repaying their debts because of the influence of COVID-19. Accordingly, customers who have a loan at Mirae Asset Finance Company (Vietnam) and are eligible under the program rules will receive support through 3 simple steps:

It is estimated that through this program "Accompany COVID-19", nearly 300,000 existing customers who are eligible for the program will receive financial support.
