Data Development Deputy Manager (Data Engineer)

• Team Management Support: Oversee and guide team members in data collection, storage, and processing tasks, ensuring high standards of data quality and accuracy.
• Data Strategy and Processes: Collaborate with the Data Manager to implement effective data strategies and workflows, ensuring data security and compliance across the organization.
• Data Warehouse Development: Lead or support the design, development, and maintenance of a robust data warehouse architecture to centralize and streamline data storage.
• ETL Process Design and Optimization: Develop, manage, and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from various sources into the data warehouse, ensuring high-quality, timely data availability for analysis.
• Data Quality Assurance: Monitor and enforce data quality checks, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of datasets throughout their lifecycle.
• Data Analysis Support: Work closely with other business units to understand data requirements and deliver insights that support business decisions.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize data workflows, improve the efficiency of data collection, processing, and analysis.
• Reporting and Analytics: Create and maintain regular reports on data operations, performance, and outcomes, providing detailed insights for decision-making.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure all data management processes comply with internal policies and external regulations regarding data protection and security.

Education level, certification:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.

Experience:

• 5-8 years of experience in data management or analytics, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or management support role.
• Experience with data analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining data warehouses, including architecture design, implementation, and optimization.
• Solid experience in designing, developing, and managing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources into a centralized data platform.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality management, and data security protocols.
